How much cooler will my cabin actually be?
In our lab tests (35°C ambient, black interior, closed vehicle), cabin temperature dropped by 15°C (27°F) within 60 seconds of closing the shade. Real-world results vary by 2-3°C depending on:
- Car color (white reflects more)
- Whether AC is running
- Direct vs. indirect sunlight

How loud is the motor? Will it wake my kid?
The motor runs at < 30dB — quieter than a whisper, quieter than your AC fan on low. We've had customers report their sleeping babies don't wake up.
